Not a start-up. A studio that built a programme.
Turntable Learning is delivered by Turntable Media, a working music, video and DJ studio in Wokingham with more than ten years of industry experience behind it. The programme was built on top of that… not the other way round.
Our story
Ten years of records, then a programme.
Turntable Media has spent over a decade making records, films and campaigns from a studio on Toutley Road in Wokingham. 12M+ streams, 10M+ social impressions and a five-star Google rating came from commercial work, not from grant funding.
Turntable Learning grew out of what kept happening in that room. Young people who had disengaged everywhere else turned up for the equipment and stayed for everything around it. So we built a structured programme around what was already working, with the reporting and safeguarding that council partners need in order to refer.
Everything we teach is taught by someone who does it for a living. That is the whole point: a young person in our studio is working next to a professional on professional equipment, in a real place of work.
